That’s why we’re proud to announce that, as of this month, PopSQL has achieved its SOC 2 Type II certification.

What is SOC 2 Type II compliance?

A SOC 2 Type II report is an audit of how a company’s internal controls safeguard customer data, and how well those controls are operating. With the proliferation of cloud services, businesses around the world rely on SOC 2 reports to assess and address the risks associated with 3rd party technology services and their providers. Completed by independent auditors, these reports cover several trust service criteria categories, as denoted by the AICPA, relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy.

Our SOC 2 Type II audit provides not only an independent assessment of PopSQL’s security control environment, but also full transparency around describing our controls, the tests performed to assess them, the results of those tests, and an overall opinion on our controls’ design and operational effectiveness.
