Schema and global search filters, column search on table pages
We're excited to introduce three powerful new search features, designed to streamline your experience in PopSQL. Read on to discover the latest additions and improvements to search in PopSQL.
Schema Search Filters
Searching for a specific table in a vast schema can be a daunting task. To alleviate this challenge, we've introduced schema search filters. Now you can search within the schema explorer with greater granularity, making it easier to find exactly what you're looking for. You can narrow your search to look only for tables, columns, views, or any other schema item.
Global Search Filters
To further enhance your search capabilities, we've introduced global search filters. Global search has always enabled you to conduct comprehensive searches across everything in your PopSQL organization. Now, you can narrow your global search results so you can quickly locate the information you need. You can filter your search to show only Queries, Dashboards, Tables, Columns, or Views. When searching for queries, you can also filter by query owner, so you can search through your own queries, or find shared queries from the top analysts on your team to learn their tricks 🧐
Filter Columns on Table Page
For users working with tables that contain a large number of columns, we've introduced a game-changing feature: filter columns on the table page. Now, you'll see a dedicated search bar on table pages to locate a specific column within the table you're examining. No more tedious scrolling or manual searches! With this powerful capability, you can pinpoint the column you need, improving your efficiency and minimizing the time spent on data exploration.
We're committed to continuously improving your SQL editing experience. We hope you find these features invaluable in your day-to-day tasks, helping you navigate complex schemas effortlessly and enabling seamless interactions with your database.
We can't wait to hear your feedback. Stay tuned for more exciting updates coming your way soon!
Happy querying,
